Quest came to Raahz during a time when I felt very lost and discontent with my life. She didn’t know she needed these words and melodies to transform my perception of how blessed it is to experience being a human. All her life experiences brought her to this place and she feels ever so grateful for each stop so far in her journey and thankful that God chose me to be a beacon of light through art!

It's a reminder we’re all we need, that God is in control so we should not fear or worry. Life isn’t always easy but we also don’t have to make it harder. She cried, smiled, healed and most importantly, she had fun making this project. She almost forgot how to do that, life shouldn’t be serious all the time. But I understand many of us feel we don’t have the luxury of being care free. She understands know how draining that is. She doesn't claim to have the answers Sway, but she can assure she will keep fighting for peace and love, so she can be the light she was destined to be and wishes the same for everyone who experiences her art.

Voyage is a coming of age love story that explores reflection, letting go and finding an appreciation of love again. This concept was birthed in 2016. At that time I was a student and I really took advantage of breaks from school to learn and connect with myself, to explore and embark on adventures and just have fun. 7 years later, with new songs and some originals evolved, the theme is still aligned. I hope this project can help others find peace with life's ebbs and flows and I hope it serves as a basis of reflection for me for many years to come.
